Bulk Billing

We choose to Bulk Bill all examinations (excluding obstetric ultrasounds) at Transparent Medical Imaging when a patient has medicare eligibility. This aligns with our vision of quality, accessible and affordable healthcare for all. There are some rare scenarios where medicare will not pay for certain tests – we will always discuss this with you prior to your examination.

We remain dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible imaging for women’s health. While we no longer bulk bill obstetric ultrasounds, we have set our out-of-pocket fees to be among the most affordable available. Pelvic ultrasounds and all other ultrasound examinations will continue to be fully bulk billed.

If you do not possess a valid medicare card you will be required to pay a fee for the examinations. We will then provide you with a receipt for you to claim through your insurance should this be applicable.
