We offer same day appointments and all medicare eligible examinations are bulk billed.
No preparation is required for all X-ray, CBCT, dental examinations.
You may be required to remove piercings/jewellery should they interfere with the field of view.
Many ultrasound examinations require no preparation. The below examinations do require preparation to ensure we can take the most optimal images possible:
- Abdomen Ultrasound – Fast for 6 hours
- Artery Ultrasound – Fast for 6 hours
- Pelvic Ultrasound – Well hydrated and full bladder
- Obstetric Ultrasound – Well hydrated and full bladder
- Renal/Prostate/Bladder/KUB Ultrasound – Well hydrated and full bladder
- Paediatric Renal/Bladder Ultrasound – Well hydrated and full bladder where practically possible

What to bring
- Your referral (paper or digital — a photo on your phone is fine)
- Your Medicare card
- Any prior imaging or reports relevant to your examination — X-ray films, ultrasound images, or previous reports are useful context for our radiologist
- Your private health insurance card if applicable
- A list of current medications if you are attending for an ultrasound guided injection
Location and parking
We are located at 1/61 Brighton Road, Elwood VIC 3184. Street parking is available on Brighton Road and surrounding streets. We are also accessible by public transport — check the PTV journey planner for tram and bus routes to Elwood.
Privacy
Your medical imaging and personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Reports are sent only to your referring practitioner. If you would like a copy of your images or report, please ask our staff.
